I've devoted the past five years to developing my skills in hand-to-hand combat. In my experience a person’s ability to protect their friends and family instills a type of grace and compassion unlike any other. Good Men Brotherhood is founded on these principles with the idea that defense is resistance against attack. This comes in all forms; personal, professional, physical, even fiscal. But until now the actual use of defense has been limited to hand-to-hand combat.
My first stop on the tour… Scottsdale Gun Club. Whether or not you believe in guns, the reality is as long as they exist and are available to the public I think it’s in your best interest to be educated about them. I know this is a rather fiery subject do to recent current events, but reading the backlash on Facebook has made me realize how many people underneath the external rage are leading from FEAR, False Evidence Appearing Real.
I decided to make my first stop SCG so I could cultivate a better understanding of gun owners, gun culture and brush up on my weapons skills. I’ll be starting from the ground up from learning the proper way to clean the vast array of fire arms to re-certifying my CCW, even diving into defensive tactics and attending a desert survival course.
Peace and punches!
