Lint Catcher

I have a favorite pair of jeans. I wear them often. I’d say at least three days a week. Every time I put them in the wash my heart syncs just a little bit because I know once they hit the dryer, a piece of them will be left behind.

Every day we live, every moment we breathe, a little piece of us is left behind. That’s just life. And it’s one of the main reasons I believe it’s so important to do our absolute best to always lead from love. That’s why I made it the first word in the Good Men Brotherhood code.

After the jeans dry, I empty the lint catcher. It’s my way of saying goodbye. But it makes me smile, because I’m saying goodbye to something I love. When we lead from love, the pieces we leave behind emanate with it.

Peace and punches!
