Winning vs. Being Your Best

It's not about winning. It's about doing your best. Sure, Lance won the Tour De France, but he lost that which is far more important to a good man, self-respect. And he's amongst good company; Barry Bonds, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Randy Savage, heck as of July there are 37 Russian athletes that have been banned from this year’s Olympic Games. Maybe we should just accept it. After all, aren't the majority of men with the most likes on their Instagram selfies doping? Probably. They'll say they're natural. But is natural five genetically modified powders taken three times a day? I don't think so. And if it is, does that make it right? Does that make it something people should allow their children to follow and idolize, an almost impossible goal to achieve without participating in consuming some sort of scientific concoction. I think not. I think we need to teach the leaders of tomorrow that what they see has often times been touched up, what they hear is likely auto tuned, and what they do needs to contribute to the spiritual evolution of our planet. I'm not pointing a finger. I'm opening a palm and lifting my hand up. Let's stop trying to be more, and focus instead on resonating at a higher level.

Peace and punches!
